XS Scuba Highland Stainless Steel Backplate

The backplate is the chassis that supports the entire kit. Technical divers choose Highland backplates because of the attention given to the small details such as beveled edges and slot placement.

• 304 stainless-steel, 11-gauge (.115 in/3 mm)

• Weight: 5 lbs (2.3 kg)

• All edges are beveled to protect the harness

• The 3 holes at the top of the plate offer variable height adjustment for air cell and cylinder mounting. In addition, a corresponding lower oval slot allows for lower band bolts that may be misaligned

• Slots at bottom for use with 1 in (2.5 cm) or 2 in (5 cm) crotch strap

• 3/8 in (9.5 mm) accessory mounting holes along the sides and bottom
