Navigation & Surface GPS

The Descent X30 uses satellite connectivity while at the surface to help mark entry and exit points and locate your target before entering the water. Once underwater, the integrated 3-axis digital compass helps you navigate and maintain directional awareness.

Dive Computer Controls

The four large metal buttons are designed for reliable operation underwater and can be used while wearing gloves. Flip-screen mode lets you orient the buttons at the top of the display, while custom dive screens allow up to three data fields per page so you can prioritize the information you need.

Garmin Dive™ App

Pair Descent X30 with the Garmin Dive™ app to automatically sync and upload your dive logs. Review your dive information after surfacing and keep your dive history organized in one place.

Setup Sharing

Before a dive, Setup Sharing allows two compatible Descent dive computers to synchronize important dive settings. This can help ensure your primary and backup computers are configured consistently, including settings such as gases, conservatism and alerts.

inReach® Connectivity

When paired with a compatible inReach® device, Descent X30 can remotely trigger an SOS message while above the surface. Divers can also sync their Divers Alert Network (DAN) ID for additional support; DAN membership is required.
